Brief
A much needed renovation was needed for this 1970’s bungalow’s living areas. Modernizing it, but without losing its character.
We created openings between rooms to let in the natural light. Added texture by adding a v-groove feature wall. Linen look drapes and roman blinds to add softness.
Wall to ceiling with a beautiful warm white, keeping it fresh, light and bright. Polished wooden floors in Kitchen and Dining, infusing warmth & character into these areas.
Add old fireplace surround added to the lounge wall as a decorative shelf, to bring in more of the character of the old bungalow.
Brass accents in the Kitchen with white on white cabinetry for a timeless but fresh feel. A classic subway tile laid in brick formation. For a hint of difference we used a bevelled edge subway and added a upright tile trim along base . Lastly, transforming the once back door entrance into a beautiful but functional large walk-in pantry.
Styled with hints of rattan, cane & timber in the furnishings. Lots of whites & creams and lovely textured soft furnishings. Lush green pants to break up the white on white, plus touches of black to balance everything.
